MAX THE MIGHTY
In the book MAX THE MIGHTY by Rodman Philbrick presents, a story about a teenager named
Max who goes on this wild journey with a girl named Worm. Max wanted Freak to come back because
unfortunately he had died. However, Max had met Worm they became friends quick. Later on, he found
out about Worms step dad he was known as the undertaker. He hurt his mom and Worm but Max came
and took her aways as her mother said. So they went on this long journey yo get away from being
chased by the cops. Coming to the end the undertaker was there and so they went into the mine
where Worms biological dad had died they came out alive and Dip was there one of the friends that
they met on their journey. Dip had Maxs grandparents. There was a cop out side with the undertaker
that was getting ready to arrest Max but then the undertaker was saying all these lies that lead to the
whole reason why they were getting chased by cops. However, Worm was getting upset by that so she
said the truth and the cop believed her so Max was no longer arrested. In the end the undertaker ran
away so Worm and her mom lived with Max and his grandparents.
