Summary #14
MAX THE MIGHTY
In the book MAX THE MIGHTY by Rodman Philbrick presents, a story about a teenager named
Max who goes on this wild journey with a girl named Worm. Max wanted Freak to come back because
unfortunately he had died. However, Max had met Worm they became friends quick. Later on, he found
out about Worms step dad he was known as the undertaker. He hurt his mom and Worm but Max came
and took her aways as her mother said. So they went on this long journey yo get away from being
chased by the cops. Coming to the end the undertaker was there and so they went into the mine
where Worms biological dad had died they came out alive and Dip was there one of the friends that
they met on their journey. Dip had Maxs grandparents. There was a cop out side with the undertaker
that was getting ready to arrest Max but then the undertaker was saying all these lies that lead to the
whole reason why they were getting chased by cops. However, Worm was getting upset by that so she
said the truth and the cop believed her so Max was no longer arrested. In the end the undertaker ran
away so Worm and her mom lived with Max and his grandparents.

Out of my Mind!!!
In the book Out of my Mind by Sharon M Draper describes, about a girl that is named Melody. Melody lives with her mom, dad, and sister. Melody doesn’t have many friends and she tries to make them but nobody wants to because she's different. Even though, nobody wanted to be her friend she still wanted to make friend so she tries talking. I don’t know the end results because the book isn’t over but maybe in the rest if the book Melody is going to be able to make friends.

Hero!!!
In the book Hero by Jennifer Li Shotz, describes a book about a police dog named Hero who trains and helps with crimes and a lot of other things. Too add on, it's also about how they find a puppy and take it home and name it Scout. Ben is the kid in the story he is trying out for baseball but there is this new boy in town and he is all about competition. Then comes the competition and Jack the new kid and he hits Ben in the collarbone and he was hurt bad from that. Then Hero and Scout leave. However Hero comes back and then he helps them find Scout they find Scout but then Ben has to give him away.

Freak The Mighty!!!
In the book Freak The Mighty by Rodman Philbrick states a tenager named Max has a disability and his friend
Freak is a midget. Both Freak and Max are really good friends they go on quests together. Max lives with his
grandparents because Max's mom is dead and his father is in prison. Later on in the story Max saw Freak trying to grab something from the tree but he couldn’t so he went outside to help get down Freaks toy from the tree. After he did that the Fair Gwen got scared because he looked like his dad Killer Kane. Too add on, Freak and Max go on a quest on the quest Freak tells Max that in the hospital in a special room there making robot body parts for Freak.Later on in the story Grim and Gram are fighting because Grim wants to bring a gun into the house because Max's dad is getting out of prison but Gram doesn't want a gun in the house because Max's dad could take it and use it. Later on, Max wakes up with a hand on his mouth telling him not to talk or say a word. After that Max gets rapped in rope so then he can't get a way. Later on Max realizes that it was his dad who took him. Another thing that happened was Max's dad found out that there were cops coming because his friend told him. Too add on, after Max's dad heard he had max go out the window and then when he got down to the ground Maxs dads friend tried to get him out of the rope. So then he can leave but then Max's dad came down and chokes his friend but the Max is yelling out that he saw him kill his mother. Later on they see Freak and Freak says he has a gun and he squirts it into Killer Kane's eyes and then he was itching them and Max got away the cops arrested Max's dad and then Max had t sign this form to say that he wanted him in jail forever. Last but not least, it was Freaks birthday at his birth day he got a secure and they went to the hospital and he died.
